Society Elections

WE ARE AN ALL-INCLUSIVE, AWARD-WINNING SOCIETY FOR ANYONE WITH A PASSION FOR ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, WITH A MISSION “TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN ACADEMIC STUDIES AND THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.”

THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO BE PART OF THE STORY.

About

Every year, Warwick Engineering Society holds elections to determine its new exec team. You’ll be able to have your say by voting for candidates you feel are best suited to run the society, or by running for election yourself. This is your opportunity to influence the organisation made to support you. The current exec members can be seen here.

Elections will be held in person in term 3, so make sure you follow us on social media and subscribe to the mailing list to stay informed.

Why Apply?

As an elected member of the executive team, you will be able to turn your ideas into reality by collaborating with others and challenging yourself. Apply your technical, organisational and communication skills in real-world scenarios to develop personally and expand your professional and technical horizons. In doing so, help not only yourself, but also your peers, to make the most out of university life.

Your contributions will not only be recognised by the society’s community, industrial partners and sponsors, but also on your Higher Education Achievement (HEAR) Report, which is a formal, official record of your studies (and additional activities) upon graduating. In addition, you will be able to bring a unique edge to your CV, expand your network internal and external to the University and gain experience within a student-led organisation.

Make no mistake, being an executive team member is a serious commitment and will be challenging alongside your studies. However, it will be highly rewarding and enjoyable: an experience for life.

Hear from the current executive team on their experiences from this past year at our ‘Meet the Exec’ events. More information can be found on the Engineering Society Facebook Page here.
